WHAT IS IT?

Pine resin (not sap) is secreted from pines as a stress response. It is an antiseptic, astringent, and antibacterial.

WAYS TO USE IT:

✿ CUTS & ABRASIONS: Apply a thin layer of pine salve and leave a thin layer to act as a barrier and aid healing.

✿ SPLINTERS: Generously apply the pine salve and cover with a clean bandage. Leave overnight to draw out a splinter.

✿ BOILS & ABSCESSES:  Apply a poultice of pine salve to the affected area to draw out any impurities.

✿ NATURAL VICKS VAPORUB: The volatile terpenes in the pine salve act as a respiratory decongestant when rubbed on the chest and with no potentially harmful petroleum-based products!

✿ FIRE STARTER: Dab a generous amount of pine salve onto a cotton ball and you've got an instant fire starter!

OTHER BENEFITS:

✿ Salve also has a warming action, which is great for easing discomfort from sore muscles and painful joints. Just rub the salve where the pain is, and let it get to work. Because it is stimulating, it helps to increase blood flow to the area, easing pain and aiding healing.

✿ The oleoresin from the pine acts as a counter-irritant, stimulating circulation, inflammation, and the local immune response to quicken the body's healing process.

✿ It is antifungal and antibacterial and acts as a barrier, which helps prevent infection from setting in, making pine salve a great choice for applying to minor wounds, scrapes, and grazes.

    Lifesaver

I have had a chronic issue with Follicitus. I have seen the dermatologist and tried various medications and shampoos. Nothing worked until I tried the Pine Salve. It has massively improved the follicitus and I will continue to use and recommend it. Thanks

    Great for burns

I had a bad oil splatter burn while cooking last night. I ran my arm under water for few minutes then I put pine salve on. Was expecting arm to hurt when I took shower but it did not hurt at all. Put another application before bed and woke up pain free! This is a must in your first aid boxes!!!

    Grateful!

My skin is not usually sensitive, but one morning after using a new moisterizer I woke up to a bright red, inflamed, and itchy face. Nothing I tried soothed the irritation and itching except for Dande's pine salve. I'm grateful, and will be using it for future skin issues that arise- thank you!

    Unique scent and soothing

I've never seen this anywhere else. It smells like a fresh forest and calmed down my skin after I cut it and noticed an infection brewing.

    Pine Salve

I must admit...I had never heard of Pine Salve. Well, I LOVE it now! So many uses for this outstanding product. Today, I want to say how it is helping my cat. She had scratched herself because her ear was bothering her. I put the salve on a Qtip and applied it through her beautiful coat on to the scratch. She loves it, she has stopped scratching and she smells so good. I promise she turned and smiled back at me that it was so soothing. Love these products.
